Overview

This week marked my transition from onboarding into active operational responsibilities within the program. I supported a themed hospital event while continuing technical deployment and system configuration tasks.


Hours Breakdown

  • February 13, 2026 – 3 hours (10:00 AM–1:00 PM)
    Supported the Nemours Heart Festival. Participated in interactive patient engagement activities and configured gaming systems for program use.
  • February 20, 2026 – 3.5 hours
    Continued operational support and technical system setup within the hospital environment.

Responsibilities & Contributions

  • Assembled and configured six Nintendo Switch systems
  • Attached controllers and base units
  • Connected HDMI and power systems
  • Connected devices to hospital WiFi
  • Registered units and created user accounts
  • Verified system functionality
  • Engaged with pediatric patient and family during event programming

Reflection

This week required adaptability and professionalism in a live hospital setting. Managing technical deployment while engaging with patients reinforced the importance of composure and preparation in structured environments.
